Esergon is built for Shopify sellers, and we take your data seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email), connecting your Shopify store (store URL and OAuth access token stored encrypted), and generating listings (product images and text inputs). We also collect usage data such as the number of listings generated and features used.
2. How we use your information
We use collected information to provide and improve Esergon, process subscriptions via Lemon Squeezy, send technical notices and support messages, and respond to inquiries. We do not sell your data to third parties or display advertising.
3. Product images
Product images you upload are sent to OpenAI's API for analysis and are not stored permanently by Esergon. We do not use your product images to train AI models.
4. Shopify integration
When you connect your Shopify store we store an encrypted OAuth access token used only when you explicitly push a listing. You can disconnect your store at any time from account settings, which immediately removes the stored token.
5. Team members (Agency plan)
Agency plan owners can invite team members who access the account under the owner's subscription. Owners control Shopify connection permissions per member. All team data is scoped to the owner's account.
6. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated listing data is retained in your history indefinitely so you can reference past work. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Data security
We implement industry-standard security including HTTPS, encrypted Shopify token storage, and Supabase Row Level Security. Your listings and account data are only accessible to you and your authorised team members.
8. Cookies
We use only essential authentication cookies (Supabase session). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
9. Your rights
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time from account settings. To request full data deletion email privacy@esergon.com — we will respond within 30 days.
